No. Windsor Walk-In Clinic is a walk-in clinic — just come in during operating hours. No appointment, no referral, and no booking required. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Most walk-in services are fully covered by OHIP for Ontario residents with a valid health card. This includes consultations, diagnosis, prescriptions, lab requisitions, referrals, and most assessments. Services like cosmetic procedures or certain documentation fees are not covered.
Please bring your Ontario OHIP health card. If you have a list of current medications or any relevant medical records, bring those too. For workplace or insurance forms, bring the form itself.
Wait times vary depending on how busy the clinic is. We work to see every patient as efficiently as possible without rushing consultations. You can call ahead to ask about current wait times before you come in.
Yes. We can renew existing prescriptions and issue new ones based on a physician assessment. Please bring your current medication bottles or a list of your medications to your visit.
Yes. Our physicians can issue referrals to any specialist who accepts referrals in Windsor and Essex County. Please note that specialist wait times are determined by the specialist's office and are outside of our control.
Yes, we see patients of all ages including children. For infants under 3 months with a fever, we recommend going to Windsor Regional Hospital Emergency Department due to the specialized nature of care required.
